She is locally known and quickly growing to be nationally known for her unique illustrative portraits with an abstract edge.Mara Shane was born and raised in Southern California. Growing up her inspirations were 80s and 90s Pop Art and music idols such as Madonna, Prince and David Bowie. She captures not only the timelessness of that Era, but also modernizes it with a very stylized LA meets San Francisco vibe!
