Francisco Estravides is a local Las Vegas artist. He grew up in Southern California, where he developed a passion for expressing life through his art. He has been a natural talent from a young age. He has exhibited his art in Los Angeles, Washington, DC, Northern Virginia, and of course, Las Vegas. Collectors from around the world have purchased his art!
In 2021, Francisco came close to death from the Covid pandemic. When he recovered through the heroic effort of first responders and medical professionals, he created a collection of art to honor Las Vegas. ALL of the pieces from this "Golden Vegas" collection sold, and a percentage of the proceeds were donated to first responder charities.
Francisco creates these collections by being inspired by the sights, music, and emotions around him. In 2022, he was accepted by the DaVinci School of Sculpture in Firenza (Florence), Italy. There he worked with renowned sculpting masters developing his skills in sculpting. Eventually, this will result in a multi-media collection experience.
You will see a story in every work of art by Francisco. His use of hundreds of greys with pops of vibrant colors represent a statement of passion, focus, and presence.
He is currently a featured artist in Southern California at La Mancha Galleries, various East Village Galleries in Long Beach, and has been displayed at the world-recognized Museum of Latin-American Arts (MOLAA).
On the east coast, Francisco has been recognized by the Loudoun County "Art Square," been featured artist at the Chimole Gallery in Leesburg, and the premier artist at the Nazca Mochica Gallery in Washington, DC.
Here in Las Vegas he has been featured in several galleries and is now happy to be a part of the Desert Valley Gallery in Summerlin.
